Trufla Technology, a Calgary-based company providing digital solutions for insurance brokerages, today announced that Tom Reid has joined the company as President.
Reid comes to Trufla with more than twenty-five years of experience in technology and the insurance industry. In his most senior role as Executive Director, Digital Broker Strategy for Aviva Canada, Reid focused on the national digitization of the broker channel for that organization.
Sherif Gemayel, who had previously been acting as President and CEO, will now move into the CEO role, which will be focused on Trufla’s global expansion.
“This is an exciting time for Trufla,” says Gemayel. “Ever since we began building technology, we have been growing exponentially. Adding Tom to our leadership team is a significant milestone for us.”
